Cast Stone Mantels
A Cast Stone Mantel is for a fireplace that is built into a wall. It is not free- standing, like Wood Mantels, and must be attached to the wall. Cast Stone Mantels can be used on Mosaic Masonry fireplaces.

Face Kit (or Facings)
A Face Kit goes primarily where the heat circulation louvers are, below and above the front of the fireplace, and is meant to add a more decorative flair to the fireplace. Face kits come in a selection of styles and finishes.

Trim
Trim is a metal border, made of three or four pieces, that covers the gap between the fireplace and the cabinet mantle.

Surround
A Surround is the non-combustible material that goes between the fireplace and the cast stone mantels. This material is often tile or marble.
